When you visit Revelstoke in April and May, you cannot escape the mud! With the Spring thaw and rain, Revy is a giant mud pit, and we dig it!
Dancing in the rain, splashing in puddles, having mud baths, and transitioning from heli-skiing to heli-biking are the name of the Spring game. Bring your galoshes and your sense of adventure this Spring to Revelstoke
ATVing
A fun way to drive, ATVing is a Spring to Fall sport here in Revy. View our mountainous terrain and forested areas by renting one of these for the day. Whether you decide to take to the paths on your own or with a tour group, the choice is yours, and the result will always be a blast of a day!
Heli-Biking
Helicopters run 12 months of the year here in Revelstoke. Starting in April/May our industry partners switch gears from Heli-Skiing to Heli-Biking, Heli-Hiking, and Heli-Sightseeing. Descend the mountains by bike or by foot this Spring. Bring your best riding gear and sunscreen as you’ll be that much closer to the sun.
The best part about heli-anything is that we have a parking spot for helicopters right in our backyard. That’s right, you’ll be picked up and dropped off right in our backyard just like you should be.
FLY FISHING
Though still chilly out on the water, fly fishing season has begun. You can rent fishing gear here so don’t worry about bringing your tackle box and gear, we have it all for you!
Of course, your trip to Revelstoke wouldn’t be complete without staying with us at Bison Lodge. Being our guest is a bucket list item you want to check off.
One of our favourite things to do is to just chill in our outdoor hot tub. Who doesn’t love a hot tub? Bring your swimsuit and just hang out, day and night, or all day and all night. We won’t judge you.
Bison Lodge is not just a place to rest. We are a respite for your mental and physical health. Steeped in luxury, our goal is to give you the most opulent experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life and to give you the desire to join us every year.
There is beauty and a new beginning in every season. The Spring may be called the Shoulder Season here in Revelstoke, but for us, it’s a time for new things to do and new things to see.
