KAYAKING
There are a number of canoe and kayak providers in Revelstoke. One such rental provider is Natural Escapes Kayaking. Go solo or in a group, view our calm lakes, and see a few of our beautiful waterfalls. This calming activity is one way you can see the scenery that will surround you.
RAFTING
Do you prefer rapids or calm waters? How about both?
The Illecillewaet River is our Whitewater Rapids adventure playground. This is a 26 km exhilarating trip that lasts about 4 hours. You’ll have some calm areas and some rapids but do keep some attention on the surroundings. You’ll have visuals of the snow-capped mountain peaks, our forested areas, and maybe some wildlife such as eagles, beavers, and bears.
PADDLEBOARDING
If you haven’t tried out paddleboarding, you’re going to want to!
It’s like surfing but without the waves. Stand up or paddle on your knees, this is a great way to work out your entire body without realizing it. Paddle your way around our lakes and rivers to see the sights and take a break whenever you need to. But do be aware, it’s a workout to get back up on your feet and that’s the fun of it.
A cool refreshing swim always reinvigorates the body and the soul on a hot Summer day. Of course, there is always plenty more to do in Revy, but our Glacier-fed waters are one of the best things to enjoy in the Summer.
