As the Winter winds down in North America, it continues on in April in Revelstoke. Our average snowfall in April still reaches 18 inches of fresh pow. The time to hit the slopes is now before the April snow brings our Spring flowers.
April in Revelstoke is the best of two worlds; fresh snow on our mountains with daily average temperatures at base reaching up to 57 degrees Fahrenheit and a daily low reaching no less than 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Skiing and snowboarding in your t-shirt is a possibility here and we welcome it! Just remember to bring your SPF!
Heli-Skiing is the main event in April. The snow-capped mountains are where the adventures are at this time of year. Plenty of action is to come but don’t miss out.
Heli snowboarding is also an option for you. Whether you bring your own or rent a board from one of our many local suppliers, the end result will still be the same; fun on the mountains!
The contrast of the snow on the mountains and the grass starting to green below is one of the amazing sights Mother Nature has given us during April every year.
Though the end of the Winter season can be felt and seen, our nighttime temperatures will still be chilly. End your day in our outdoor hot tub. Allow the warmth to radiate through your muscles and bones for a few hours, and pair it with a glass of wine and some romance.
Every morning, wake up with a pep in your step! Rain or shine, Revy mornings are perfectly serene. Enjoy your morning coffee or mimosa on our patio and just watch the world pass by.
Of course, your morning coffee or mimosa will come after your early morning cardio session. Get your blood pumping and ready for the day ahead! Our on-site gym gives you no excuses. After all, the worst workout is the one that didn’t happen.
As much as we love the Winter here in Revy, we always look forward to the dawn of a new season. It’s truly a wonderful transition. It’s beautiful in its own way.
We invite you to stay with us every Spring season. We host any and all occasions. From family getaways to corporate retreats and ‘just because’ trips, Bison Lodge is where you want to be.
