We at Bison Lodge love what we do. We are never quick to toot our own horn. We do not do what we do for accolades. But, we are very excited to announce that we have been nominated for the World Ski Awards 2023 in the category of Canada’s Best Ski Chalet. We are beyond humbled that we have been recognized by this organization.

Crisp, clear, and refreshing water sources are our thing here in Revy. Start your day with a dip in one of our glacier run-off lakes, and get your heart rate ready for the day.
Mountain hiking and climbing can be one of the activities you can partake in here. With plenty of crags to conquer, and peaks to reach, this is one of the more popular things to do during the summer. Reaching the summit is the name of the game, but also, it’s just a cooler place to be. Try your hand at Durrand Glacier, home to over 90 km of private, maintained hiking trails. The alpine garden of native wildflowers is an attraction on its own, let alone the beauty of the mountain itself.
One of our not-so-hidden gems when it comes to a group outing is our local breweries and our distillery.
Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. and Rumpus Beer Company are our two breweries, and Monashee Spirits Craft Distillery is our local maker of organic spirits. Family run and Revelstoke local suppliers, tours of all three businesses are a great way to spend a day, and to learn about some of our local businesses that fuel our tourism industry.
Immersing yourself further into the culture and community of Revelstoke, we recommend attending our Revelstoke Farm and Craft Market. Every Saturday morning in the Summer, our beautiful downtown center (Grizzly Plaza) comes alive with local vendors. If you’re looking to bring home some Revelstoke gifts for your friends and family, the farm and craft market is the place you’ll want to be.
After you’re done shopping, stick around for a musical treat! From July 1 until August 25, Grizzly Plaza will present 58 straight nights of live music. Present by Arts Revelstoke, they invite artists from British Columbia, across Canada, and worldwide to treat us to musical stylings that range indie, folk, rock, country, reggae, roots & blues, and much more. Bring your dancing shoes and dance until dawn!
