Location: Revelstoke, BC — Bison Lodge, base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Lodge Staff play a central role in delivering the day-to-day guest experience at Bison Lodge. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled position covering service, housekeeping, guest transportation, and property upkeep. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and takes pride in getting the details right, working closely with the Lodge Manager to ensure every guest interaction reflects Bison Lodge’s standard of care.

1. Guest Care & Communication
  • Welcome guests warmly and help create a comfortable, well-attended stay from arrival to departure.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, questions, and needs throughout the day.
  • Communicate guest preferences and special requests clearly to the Lodge Manager and chef.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and discreet manner at all times, respecting guest privacy.
2. Serving & Food and Beverage Support
  • Set up, serve, and clear breakfast, après, and dinner service under the direction of the Lodge Manager and chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar areas throughout service.
  • Assist with stocking and replenishing bar and beverage supplies as needed.
    Follow all food safety and alcohol service standards.
3. Housekeeping
  • Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas to a consistently immaculate standard.
  • Complete daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and turnover between guest stays.
  • Report maintenance issues, low inventory, or damage promptly to the Lodge Manager.
  • Keep storage areas organized, labelled, and properly stocked.
4. Guest Transportation
  • Safely drive guests to and from activities, the resort, and other arranged destinations.
  • Ensure the lodge vehicle is clean, fuelled, and ready for use at all times.
  • Plan routes and timing to keep guests on schedule for bookings and appointments.
5. Snow Clearing & Property Support
  • Clear snow from guest pathways, entrances, and parking areas throughout the winter season, ensuring safe access at all times.
  • Assist with general property upkeep and minor maintenance as directed.
  • Support the Lodge Manager with seasonal setup and readiness tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license, required.
  • Valid working visa for Canada, required.
  • Serving It Right (BC) certification, required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, or housekeeping preferred.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, close-knit team and taking direction from the Lodge Manager.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies, luggage, and equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions, including snow clearing.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, aligned with guest occupancy.
