We Are Headed Into The Spring Shoulder Season

The month of March is just a few days away. With Spring only a few weeks away, March is a sweet spot when it comes to mountain activities.

The average daytime temps in March can reach up to 4 degrees Celsius at the base of the mountains, and our nighttime lows can reach -4 degrees Celsius. A monthly average of 11.4 inches of snowfall means your daytime mountainous adventures will still boast a healthy dose of fresh pow at the peaks, and as you make your way down, you’ll start to heat up.

Especially near the end of March, the juxtaposition of skiing and warm temperatures is pretty wild! It’s a fun time of year; skiing in t-shirts and spring jackets.

Though the season’s end is within the next 8 weeks, there is still plenty of fun to be had. With our snowfall continuing for another 6 weeks, there will be fresh snowfall for you to make fresh tracks in, especially in our backcountry areas. Go big or go home!

You still have one full month to get your fill in before the season ends. Have you booked your trip to Revelstoke?

Unwinding should be the best part of your day. Coming in from a day in the snow deserves some much-needed downtime and recuperation. It may please you to know we have a massage therapist on-site upon request so that your muscles can repair overnight and be ready for the next day of fun on the slopes. We are proud to be able to offer you this service.
