Executive Chef, Mitja Ziegler, brings a cosmopolitan flair to your dining experience at Bison Lodge. Originally trained in Germany, he has travelled the world, building an impressive resume that includes everything from executive catering gigs to the management of large restaurant teams. Since moving to British Columbia in 2010, he has served the discerning clients of many private fishing and heli-skiing lodges. As your Bison Lodge Chef, Mitja will craft customized menus that draw on his international perspective, regional traditions and locally sourced ingredients to creatively elevate your chalet cuisine experience.
In his free time, Mitja enjoys snowboarding and sledding.
